Updates to Events Safety Protocols

We are back to work!

With the introduction of phase 3 and the return of local businesses throughout the St. Louis area, Third Degree Glass Factory is thrilled to announce that we are officially hosting and booking private events!  Third Degree’s amazing Gallery is also open to the public during the week and on the weekends!

Your safety and the safety of our staff is Third Degree’s number one priority, so we’ve developed protocols and guidelines to do our part in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 at events. First we submitted a plan to the St. Louis City Health Commissioner and it was approved! We also developed an informational flier for all of our clients and guests to read before coming to an event. This outlines what Third Degree is doing and what we expect from guests that attend an event.

Below are just a few examples of what Third Degree has implemented to ensure you and our staff stay safe in our facility per recommendations by the CDC , Explore St. Louis, and the St. Louis City Health Department.

We are all in this together!

Entryway Changes

This sign provides a detailed list of our COVID-19 changes at Third Degree Glass Factory. Located just outside our main entrance, it illustrates our protocols, frequent cleaning routine, and recommendations for your visit.

Temperature Checks

Third Degree has invested in four touch-free thermometers. All of our event clients and their guests will be asked to take their temperature and fill out a health-check in form. The forms are crucial information that the St. Louis City Health Department will need if an outbreak occurs. Any guest with a temperature of 100.4 or more will be asked to immediately visit an urgent care center and get tested.  Third Degree is graciously offering disposable masks and gloves to all of our clients, guests, and visitors.

Vestibule Additions

After coming through the front doors, you are asked to sanitize your hands, take a mask if you didn’t bring one, and practice social distancing. This makes sanitation easy for us. Staff sanitizes all frequently-touched surfaces multiple times daily and through out our events.

Sanitizing Stations

There are numerous automatic sanitation stations placed throughout the building for your convenience. The one pictured here stays at the bar. As an additional precaution, event guests are required to wear masks when ordering drinks.

Spacing Tables

Per our plan to the Health Commissioner, Third Degree will space all of our guest tables 6 feet apart and seat only 6 guests per table. We are currently at 50% capacity per the City’s reopening stages. By July 20, we will be at 100% capacity with spacing tables at 6ft apart. What does this mean for our clients and upcoming events? With these restrictions, our newly expanded East Gallery can accommodate roughly 200 guests.

Studio Adjustments

Masks are required to enter Third Degree Glass Factory’s three studios. Due to your proximity to one another in the studios, this protects both you and our talented artists from COVID-19.

Bathroom Reminders

All bathroom mirrors are equipped with our new recommendations as a friendly reminder. Remember to frequently wash your hands for at least 20 seconds!
