The hottest summer camp is at Third Degree!
Go beyond just a class or activity at Third Friday. Send the kids to spend a whole week working with glass and creating beautiful artwork! Third Degree is once again partnering with the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) to offer “Glassworks” summer camp for students ages 10 to 14.
Our summer camps are an amazing immersive experience, where kids will get to learn about the properties of glass and how to create artwork in our three studios. Days will be split up, so kids will shape hot molten glass in the Hotshop, create glass beads over a torch in the Flameworking Studio, and cut, fuse and slump glass work in the Fused Glass studio each day, over the course of five days.
Glassworks 1 (June 20 – 24) is best suited for students who have never taken a Glassworks camp before, or have never worked with glass.
Glassworks 2 (June 6 – 10) accepts a mix of students of varying experience with glass.
Glassworks 3 (June 27 – July 1) enrolls only students who have taken a past Glassworks camp.
