That was the call we received from Boeing Event Manager. Based in Oklahoma, Crystal was frantically calling venues. They had planned an outdoor event for out of town employees, but Mother Nature was in a stormy mood. Third Degree Events Director Rachel McCalla and Gallery Director Tunde Ogunfidodo came to their rescue with a fantastic rainy-day plan. “Absolutely! We can help,” Rachel said with moxy. And 24 hours later Boeing hosted their event for 100+ at Third Degree.As the storm raged on outside–the event at Third Degree was nice and dry and included delicious heavy appetizers and cocktails, plus a glassblowing demonstration and a Hands-On Guided Activity instructed by Third Degree Artists. Demonstrating glass artist Jeremy made a Boeing plane on the spot, which he flew to the annealer. See the video below.
