Happy Hump Day! For our What’s New Wednesday feature, we’ve got a striking new plate by Kiln Studio director Mark Salsbury!
Mark used a technique called “edge construction” in which strips of glass are stood on-end and lined up together to create a pattern. His plate was also sprinkled with black powdered glass frit before firing, giving it a rustic wood pattern.
