Third Degree is gearing up for another hot St. Louis summer, and we’re kicking it off St. Louis style! Our glass artists will be bringing the heat with hourly glassblowing demonstrations throughout the night while you enjoy some of the best eats and sweets St. Louis has to offer!
-This month, we’re featuring “St. Louis Icons” by John Salozzo!
“His painting style has been called elegant realism. Many times mistaken as photographs they are fully rendered paintings on board or canvas. John is best known for his album cover art for the rock band Boston, for which he was awarded a platinum album The St. Louis Icon series is a ten year project that is inspired by what icons people who live in this great city have experienced, and which have formed lasting memories.”
-Speaking of lasting memories, get your photo taken inside the Photo Bus, a vintage 70’s VW van converted into an awesome photo booth!
-While you’re here, grab some genuine St. Louis style barbecue from Andrew’s Bayou Ribs, then cool off with some fresh Nitro Ices — ice cream made with liquid nitrogen — by Ices Plain and Fancy!
-At 8:00p, get down and boogie to 60’s & 70’s hits by Tammy and the Grippies.
-And at sundown, we heat up the night with St. Louis Fire Technicians!
