Third Degree Glass is pleased to announce openings for our 2025 exhibition schedule.  Exhibitions will run 6-8 weeks and are open to solo or group submissions. The TDG Gallery Committee will review submissions and extend offers for exhibitions in July 2024.


– Open to all artists, 18 years of age and older, using glass as the primary medium in the displayed work.  

– Glass artwork must be created through hot shop, kiln or flame-worked techniques.

– Artwork will be reviewed based on concept, technical skill, and aesthetic.

– It is the artist’s responsibility to insure their artwork in transit to and from TDG. TDG insurance covers onsite exhibitions. Additional insurance information will be provided in the artist contract at the time of acceptance and offer.

– All artwork must be ready for display with any additional hardware needs provided by the artist or artist group. If artwork installations have multiple parts or are complex, the TDG gallery team may request the artist/artist group complete the install. TDG reserves the right to refuse artwork that does not meet gallery standards. 

– Artwork for sale will be a 60/40 commission split – artist (60%) and gallery (40%). If artwork is Not for Sale (NFS), an insurance replacement value at 50% of retail must be provided. 

– An exhibition title and marketing materials (i.e. bio, artist statement, exhibition images, etc.) will be requested 90 days prior to the exhibition. A final exhibition inventory will be requested 30 days prior. 


Deadline to submit for the 2025 exhibition schedule is July 1, 2024, 11:59 p.m. CST.


– Third Degree Glass is a 7,000 sq. ft. historic building in the Delmar Maker District. The former 1930s Pontiac dealership was converted to a hot shop, kiln studio, flameworking studio, gallery, and events space. 

– The exhibition space consists of (2) sections of 4’ x 13’ areas with window frontage to a highly trafficked sidewalk on Delmar Boulevard in a growing arts district in St. Louis, MO. 

– Pedestals range in height from 30” – 48” and surface area square diameters of 12”- 30”w 


Artist receptions coincide with TDG’s Third Friday events, which are free, public events held every month from 6-10 pm. They attract a wide array of guests from various demographics and include glass blowing demonstrations, live music, cash bar, food, etc. Exhibiting artists may be invited to join glass blowing demonstrations. 


– Submit 10 – 20 high-quality images/videos of artwork (i.e. jpeg, mov, MP4) representative of the proposed exhibition. * It is understood that artists may sell work between the time of submission and exhibition, but artwork must not vary dramatically from intended exhibition concept and aesthetic.

– Images must be labeled with artwork titles. 

– Provide word doc with artwork titles, medium, and sizes.

– Provide word doc with an exhibition statement of 200 words or less describing the concept.
