TDGF is a locally-owned publicly accessible glass art studio, gallery and private event venue located on Delmar Blvd. between the Loop and Central West End. As a community of passionate artists, TDGF extends this opportunity for local non-glass artists to showcase their work in an environment with high foot traffic and numerous private events.

About the Gallery
TDGF uses a wire-and-hook hanging system for easy installation. While there are 18 hooks available, 10 large works or 15 medium sized works best fit the wall. The dimensions of the wall are approximately 32’ wide by 10’ high.
TDGF’s Third Friday Open House is a monthly event, free and open to the public. The event typically features guided glass art activities, live glassblowing demonstrations, live music and fire dancing, food trucks and cash bar, in addition to the opening for the new display. Third Fridays are typically attended by 300-700 guests each month.
The work will be on display for approximately one month, during numerous private events for optimum exposure to potential buyers.
Commission
Third Degree takes 50% commission on any artwork sold.
Restrictions
All artwork submitted must be family friendly. No images containing violence, nudity or other risque imagery. As a private event venue with nearly 150 events a year, TDGF reserves the right to refuse work not considered appropriate for a general audience.
All artwork must be ready to hang. Hanging wire works best with our system. Proper framing and/or matting is required.
Artists must also provide his or her own artist tags, business cards and other promotional materials.
There is no restriction on creation date or price.
Submission Guidelines
TDGF requests a cohesive theme for artwork shown. Individual artists, professional art groups and collaborations among multiple artists are welcome.
Submissions must include a CV or resume, five examples of work (JPEG preferred), a one-paragraph description of your proposed show, and all contact information (email, phone number, physical address, all social media links). If the artist has a preference or availability only for certain dates, please list those as well. Preference is given to artists who self-promote well, but that alone is not the deciding factor.
There is no fee for submitting.
Submit the above requirements with the subject line “Third Friday 2D Artist” to Nick Dunne, Communications Director, thirddegreeglass@gmail.com. Deadline is Friday, November 4.
Due to the large number of submissions expected, incomplete or late submissions will neither be considered nor receive a response.
Submissions will be reviewed by a committee, and all complete submissions will receive an acceptance or rejection letter no later than Friday, November 11.
Submit only once. No phone calls, please.
