The air may be getting a little chilly but it’s always warm in our studios! This week for What’s New Wednesday, artist Aaron Quigley has made this amazing blown glass vase! Aaron created this beauty using murrine. Murrine is made by layering different colored glass around a core, which is then stretched across the studio between two rods. After the glass has cooled, it is sliced and arranged to create beautiful pieces like this one!
