Come join the crew from Third Degree Glass Factory this summer at the Missouri Botanical Garden!
Stop by our booth any Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening starting May 25 to make your own fused glass art in celebration of the Garden of Glass exhibit, running through August 13. Craft your own 3″x3″ tile, using some of our pre-cut designs, or create one of your own! Projects are $40/person and will be ready for pickup one week from the creation date.
The Garden of Glass exhibit is the biggest large-scale installation of fused glass artwork to date. Artist Craig Mitchell Smith has created over 30 individual works of larger-than-life glass art, highlighted by beautiful custom lighting to make it an unforgettable experience. All summer long, see colorful glass orchids, orange blossoms, dandelions and more flourishing amid the lush, tropical setting of the Climatron! Purchase your tickets to the event here.
You can see more of artist Craig Mitchell Smith’s work on his Facebook page. Feeling inspired? Take one of our upcoming Fused Glass classes in our studios to learn the tools and techniques employed by so many artists!
