Don’t let the St. Patrick’s Day celebration end on Thursday! Third Degree is serving up hot glass and cold brews this Friday at “Steinfest”! We’re partnering up with Urban Chestnut Brewing Company to bring you delicious beer while enjoying other Third Friday activities and entertainment! See all what you can see (and do!) this Friday!
1. Pick a Stein, Pick a beer!
Come pick out a gorgeous handmade beer stein by the artists in Third Degree’s studios, and receive two tickets redeemable for Urban Chestnut beer! They’ll be here doing perfect pours and handing out awesome swag!
2. Watch Live Hot Glass Demonstrations!
Be amazed as our professional glass artists transform 2000 degree molten glass into beautiful works of art throughout the night! You never know what will happen! See how you can book one for your private group!
3. Get Completely Sauced…for dinner!
Nibble on some cajun goodness from the Completely Sauced food truck! They’ll be parked out on the front lawn!
3. Marvel at your favorite Heroes & Villains in 3D!
Newly on display in the East Gallery: “Heroes & Villains” by Steven Walden – a collection of 3D paintings that pop off the canvas when viewed through Chromadepth 3D glasses! Come experience this unique and fun display. You can even purchase one for your home!
4. Get Hands-On
Want to take a shot at making your own glass art? Get hands-0n with our glass experiences! Make a paperweight in the Hot Glass studio, beads on a torch in the Flameworking studio (above), and tiles or jewelry in the Fused Glass studio! ($35) Find out how you can incorporate activities into your next field trip or group outing!
5. Jam out to live music by DANG!
This rockin’ band is back for another round of awesome music! Show starts at 8:00p.
6. The patio’s a-glow with the Fire Technicians!
Watch fantastic fiery feats at the hands of the talented Fire Technicians! They’ll be spinning fire poi, dancing with hoops and fans, and so much more at 8:30p.
