Now on Display: “Obscured Transformation” by Terri Willits

Every month at Third Friday, we at Third Degree feature a different local artist to display in the East Gallery. This month, we are proud to showcase the mixed media and encaustic artwork of Terri Willits.

“Obscured Transformation” is a solo exhibition of work by Terri Willits that explores the view through broken glass as a window into the relationship of passing time and the effects of human activity in which the natural world is forever changed. The exhibition will include works in mixed media with encaustic that alternately balance and question the hope and the realities of physical time. Viewers will learn more about how the artist employs a diverse range of contemporary artistic tools; incorporating drawings, photography, found objects and pigmented wax.

You can read more about Terri and view her incredible body of work on her website. Or stop by anytime to see her artwork, on display until February 16.

We’re open 10:00a-5:00p
