Every month, as a part of our Third Friday open house, Third Degree Glass Factory welcomes a new 2D artist to showcase their work in our East Gallery. This month, we are excited to welcome back the bright and colorful artwork of Sherry Salant in her appropriately named showcase, Color My World.
Color My World is an example of the high vibrancy in Sherry’s alcohol ink and fluid acrylic paintings. Many of her originals are small so she scans and digitizes them to make them as large as the buyer wants them. “People tell me that the more colorful the art, the better mood they are in at the time,” she says. “I hope that this idea of color in your life puts a smile on your face. Times may be tough but the brilliance of light and color can create a splendor of spirit within you. I wish you a colorful life.”
