Starting this weekend, you can get started on your holiday celebration by making your own ornaments! We’ve got experiences open in both our Flameworking and Glassblowing studios…but what’s the difference?

Winter ClassGlassblowing Ornament Experience | Saturdays | 10:00a-5:00p | 30 min. sessions | $75

You will work one-on-one with an experienced glassblower in the Hotshop to make two beautiful ornaments! The artist will guide you through the step-by-step process of making a blown glass ornament, and show you the proper use of tools for working with hot glass.

Blown glass ornaments are typically about 4″ in diameter. Each student will produce two ornaments. Results may vary.

Flame Third Friday Gallery

Flame Ornament Experience | Saturdays | 10:00a-5:00p | 45 min. sessions | $65

Pull up a chair in our Flameworking studio! You and one other student will be working on torches typically used to make beads. But instead of beads, your instructor will show you how to use six small “blank” ornaments, which you heat over the torch before blowing it out and adding color. Technically, you are still doing glassblowing, but on a smaller scale.

Each student will receive six blanks to work with. Flame ornaments are typically about 2″ in diameter. Results may vary.
