Looking to gain some experience while enjoying a fun, creative work environment? Third Degree Glass Factory (TDGF) seeks a creative and passionate intern to assist with the daily operations of the Marketing department.
Founded in 2002, TDGF is the only publicly accessible glass art studio, gallery and education center in the City of St. Louis. TDGF boasts three state-of-the-art studios for classes and studio rentals, as well as over 6000 square feet of private event space and a contemporary gallery space showcasing the work of nearly 40 glass artists who rent time in the studios. TDGF’s primary goal is to create an amazing experience with glass for every guest.

Candidates must also:
-Be a college junior or senior standing.
-Have a demonstrable knowledge of social media marketing.
-Be willing to occasionally work a couple evenings per month (as needed) to capture footage at TDGF’s Third Friday open house, private events, or classes.
-Be willing to work in a hot studio environment for short periods of time each day.
-Available 15-20 hours a week.
-Preference is given to candidates with Adobe Creative Suite experience.
-Reports directly to Communications Director.
-Photography: stills (primarily artwork or event setups), party & crowd pics, artists working in the studios; using both an SLR camera and an iPod for social media.
-Capturing photo and video for social media use — primarily Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest.
-Prepping photos to be used on the blog and with press releases. Some writing as well.
-Managing & organizing media files on Dropbox & Google Drive.
-Other duties as requested. As a small business, it’s sometimes all hands on deck when a need arises.
-College credit towards an applicable college or university program.
-Free classes and other opportunities to experience our passion for glass!
